The main objective is educational, theoretical and practical knowledge is provided to develop basic skills in electric bass guitar building. The secondary is to guide each person in the experience of integral realization of musical instruments in an artisanal way, achieving a high level of construction, sound and aesthetics.
Recipients. All those people over 18 years old who wish to learn guitar making and develop it professionally, as well as those interested in musical instruments, woodworking and/or craftsmanship. It is not necessary to have previous experience in the field or to have knowledge of music.
Course modality. The group classes, 2 hours and a half weekly, with a maximum of 8 students per course. The pace of work in class, and the deepening of knowledge are defined by the teaching staff, according to the interests of each student.
We have a work space with all the appropriate comfort, lighting and safety conditions, in a workshop equipped with the necessary machines and tools to carry out the guitar buildings.
Materials. The fundamental pieces -body and neck- will be provided during the course; and necessary accessories (tuning machines, nuts, microphones, bridges, electrical components, etc.) will be provided by each student. In the course, recommendations of choice and purchase will be given. Each piece will be inspected and must be approved prior to use.
Schedule. Regular classes run from February to December. You can start at any time of the year, as long as there is vacancy available.
Term. Type of learning and the times that demands are individual: the course begins when the student starts his first project and depending on the search of each one, it can end with the completion of that purpose, or continue learning guitar making and finish when you decide. Regardless of the time it takes for each student.
